Finishing our Road Trip
We continued on with our journey from Manapouri, ending up in the tourist mecca of Queenstown. It was bustling with tourists which gave it a party atmosphere despite the changeable and rather cooler weather.
Pinot and Hiking
Not both at the same time! Central Otago make some of the best Pinot in the world (I think) and I made sure that I tasted as many as I could just to confirm my thinking. We also found an amazing track (challenging) but we were rewarded with outstanding views. Situated behind Arrowtown, there are a number of tracks to choose from with different degrees of fitness levels. All these tracks are easy to get to and all offer their own treasures to uncover.
We also made trips to Glenorchy and up to the top of Coronet Peak (obviously by car!) before eventually flying home.
